Hudson Artists is a full-service editorial and post-production house in downtown Detroit: editorial, color, Flame finishing, sound design, and motion graphics, with deep roots in automotive work for brands like Ford and Chevrolet. I built them a portfolio site that lets the work lead, with reels pulled from their Simian library so the team manages its work in one place.
The brief
A post house sells on the reel. Hudson Artists needed a site that puts its commercial and branded work front and center, and stays current without double entry.
What I built
- A video-first portfolio that puts the work ahead of the copy
- Simian API integration, so reels managed in Simian show up on the site
