Overview
Torment is an independent snowboarding publication, and its site is where the scene watches new video parts, reads features, and finds the print magazine and shop. I built it as an editorial front page that leads with full-width video features, with staff bylines, sections for videos and features, and search across the archive.
The brief
Snowboard media lives on video. The site needed to put new parts front and center like a magazine cover, keep years of features findable, and connect readers to the print issue and shop.
What I built
- An editorial homepage that leads with a featured video and a grid of the latest parts and stories
- Sections for videos, features, the magazine, and the shop, plus search across the archive
- Story cards with staff bylines and standfirsts, set in a type pairing that reads like print
